Village Festival at Big Canoe

The Village Festival at Big Canoe in Big Canoe, Georgia takes farmers market to a whole new level. It is a public market that offers not only fresh produce but also fresh bread, cheeses, fried pies and meats as well. In addition to the wonderful food being sold, there will also be artisans selling their crafts too! This festival will be a weekly happening on Saturdays through October 2012 from 9 AM to 12 Noon.
If you are a vendor and would like to participate in the Village Festival, there is a $15 application fee. There are no other fees to participate.
The Village Market is located at Potts Mountain near the roundabout at Cove Road in Big Canoe, Georgia. For more information, call 706-268-6392.

Farmers Market in Jasper

The 2010 season has begun for the Farmers Market in Jasper Georgia. It is held in the Jasper Park and Ride lot located next to Lee Newton Park and Pickens County Chamber of Commerce and is open every Saturday morning through October 30 with the exception of July 3 and October 2. It is also open on Wednesday mornings from June 16 to August 25th. The hours you’ll be able to visit both on Saturdays and Wednesdays are 7:30 AM to 12 Noon.
You can get fresh produce and handmade arts and crafts from local vendors. There’s nothing better than fresh grown food direct from the local farmers!
